How we handle your information.
We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to answer your questions and improve this website, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to see or delete it at any time.
The short version
- If you call us or send a callback request, we use your details to get back to you. That's it.
- We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages help them. It's set so Google can't use it for advertising.
- We don't sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
- Your browser's Global Privacy Control signal turns analytics off automatically.
- Questions or requests: [email protected] or (714) 777-8818.
1. Who we are
This website, keepitworking.com (the "site"), is operated by Keepitworking, an IT services company based in Yorba Linda, California ("Keepitworking", "we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle information collected through the site and through calls and emails that start from it.
This policy covers the website only. If you become a client, the way we handle data on your systems is set out in your service agreement with us.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Callback requests. Our forms ask for your name and phone number, and the longer form also asks for your company and a short description of what's not working. When you press send, the form opens your own email app with a message addressed to us. We receive it only if you send that email, and we then also have your email address.
- Calls and emails. If you phone or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
Please don't send passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive information through the forms or by email. If we need access details to help you, we'll arrange a secure way to share them.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics data. Through Google Analytics: the pages you view, how you got here (for example a search engine or a link), the buttons you tap (such as our phone number or a callback form), approximate location at the city level, device type, browser, screen size and language. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.
- Server and security logs. Like any website, the servers that deliver this site (our hosting provider and our network and security provider) record technical details such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to keep the site running and protect it from abuse.
- Web fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details.
We don't collect precise location, and we don't use the site to collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, financial account details or health information.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your call, email or callback request, and to give you the consultation or quote you asked for.
- To understand how visitors use the site, so we can make it clearer and more useful.
- To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix technical problems.
- To meet legal obligations and to protect our rights if a dispute arises.
We won't add you to a marketing email list just because you contacted us. If we ever offer a newsletter, it will be opt-in.
4. Google Analytics and cookies
The site uses Google Analytics 4, a service from Google LLC, to measure visits. Google Analytics sets small first-party cookies in your browser to tell new visits from returning ones. We have configured it so that:
- Google Signals and ad personalization are switched off, so your visit here isn't linked to your Google account for advertising.
- Analytics doesn't load at all if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
- We only see reports about groups of visitors, not information that identifies you by name.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells one visitor's browser from another | 2 years |
| _ga_YZHC3ZKPXZ | Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit | 2 years |
Our network and security provider may also set a short-lived, strictly necessary cookie to filter out malicious traffic. The site itself sets no other cookies.

5. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, and only for those purposes:
- Website hosting to store and deliver the site.
- Network and security services to deliver the site quickly and block attacks.
- Google for Google Analytics and Google Fonts, as described above.
- Email and phone providers that carry the messages and calls you send us.
If you ask us to source telecom, internet or cloud services for you, we will share the details needed for a quote with the providers you choose to consider, and we'll tell you before we do.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to respond to a valid legal request, to protect the safety, rights or property of anyone, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
6. No selling or sharing for ads
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. We have not done so in the past 12 months.
7. How long we keep it
- Callback requests and emails: as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for up to 3 years after our last contact unless you become a client or ask us to delete them sooner.
- Google Analytics data: 14 months, then deleted automatically by Google.
- Server and security logs: for the short periods set by our hosting and security providers.
8. How we protect it
Security is our business. The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to the information you send us to the people who need it to help you. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work hard to protect your information.
9. Your choices
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser (built into some browsers and available as an extension) and analytics won't load on this site.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop Google Analytics on every website.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works fully without them.
- Ask us to update or delete the information you've sent us, at any time.
10. Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you rights over your personal information. We extend these rights to all visitors, wherever they live:
- Right to know what personal information we've collected about you, where it came from, why we use it and who we've shared it with.
- Right to access a copy of that information.
- Right to delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to some legal exceptions.
- Right to correct information that's inaccurate.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don't do either, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We don't collect it through the site.
- Right to non-discrimination. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.

How to make a request
Email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request", or call (714) 777-8818. Tell us which right you'd like to use and how we can reach you. To protect you, we'll confirm your identity by matching the details you give with what we hold, for example the phone number or email you used to contact us. You can also have an authorized agent make a request for you, with your signed permission. We'll respond within 45 days, and if we need more time we'll let you know why.
California's "Shine the Light" law also lets California residents ask which businesses we've disclosed personal information to for their direct marketing. We don't make those disclosures.
11. Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
12. Other websites
The site links to other websites, such as Google's privacy pages. We're not responsible for how those sites handle information, so please read their policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our site or the law changes. We'll change the "Last updated" date above, and if a change is significant we'll make it clear on the site.
